DESCRIPTION:AIM\, the company which purchased the Bucksport Mill\, is petit
 ioning to abandon three dams\, one of which has created Toddy Pond. As par
 t of the process\, AIM is required to hold a public meeting "consult" with
  property owners\, abutting towns\, and all other interested parties to de
 termine whether any of them wish to assume ownership of the dam.\nAlthough
  many questions remain unanswered\, it is conceivable that this could be t
 he only public meeting to ask questions\, discuss\, and express support fo
