The Town Office offers registration services for both motor vehicles and watercraft; some registrations can be renewed with the State of Maine’s Rapid Renewal service.
Motor Vehicle Registration
Renewals
For renewals of motor vehicle registrations, the following information is required (for both Rapid Renewal and in-person renewals at the Town Office):
- Current vehicle registration
- Insurance card
- Current vehicle mileage
- Form of payment (credit/debit card–or cash or check at the Town Office)
There is a surcharge for payment by credit/debit card
New Registrations (or expired more than 7 months ago)
New registrations and long-expired registrations must be handled in person at the Town Office.
Watercraft Registration
Renewals
- Registrant information (name, address, etc.)
- Vessel Registration Number or Hull ID Number
- Form of payment (credit/debit card–or cash or check at the Town Office)
There is a surcharge for payment by credit/debit card
New Registrations
New registrations of watercraft must be handled in person at the Town Office.
ATV & Snowmobile Registration
Renewals
For renewals of ATV and Snowmobile registrations, the following information is required (for both Rapid Renewal and in-person renewals at the Town Office):
- Registrant information (name, address, etc.)
- Serial (vin) number
- Form of payment (credit/debit card–or cash or check at the Town Office)
There is a surcharge for payment by credit/debit card
New Registrations
New registrations for ATV’s & Snowmobiles must be handled in person at the Town Office.
