2026 Annual Town Meeting Materials

The warrant for the 2026 Annual Town Meeting has been posted (a copy is available here), and absentee ballots are available at the Town Office. Residents should note that the warrant can be amended until 7 days before Town Meeting; if such an amendment is made, it will be posted in the same physical locations and on the Town website.

In addition, the 2025 Annual Report for the Town has been printed and copies are also available at the Town Office.

As a reminder, there are four events scheduled in connection with this year’s Town Meeting:

  • March 26, 6:00pm, Gordon Emerson Auditorium in Town Hall:
A public hearing will be held for discussion and debate on Article 3, relating to the referendum vote on the GSA Excess Charge. In addition, the Select Board will review the 2026 budget and the estimated property tax implications, and will be available to answer any questions residents might have about the budget in preparation for the votes at Town Meeting.
  • March 28, 1:00-3:00pm, 30 Tenney Hill:
The Fire Department will open the site of the proposed new Public Safety Building for residents to visit and learn more about the planned use of the existing building, the changes that are anticipated, and the conceptual design and location of the “apparatus bay” building.
  • April 3, 9:30am, Gordon Emerson Auditorium in Town Hall:
The 2026 Town Meeting will be called to order and a Moderator will be elected. The polls will be open for election of officers and to vote on the GSA Excess Charge referendum question from 10:00am to 8:00pm.
  • April 4, 9:00am, Blue Hill Consolidated School Gymnasium:
The 2026 Town Meeting will continue with the “open” portion, at which Articles 4 through 64 will be considered.
