The Blue Hill-Surry Transfer Station currently accepts blue permit stickers. The blue stickers do not have an expiration year and do not need to be replaced annually.
We issue permit stickers to Blue Hill property owners only; if you own property in another of the Towns that uses our Transfer Station, you must visit your own Town Office or the Transfer Station itself.
We can issue up to two stickers per real estate tax account. Because we expect these stickers to last a while, we encourage you not to actually adhere the sticker to your windshield if you expect to get rid of the car in the near future; instead, keep it handy in the glove box so that it can be swapped between vehicles freely. If your property is a rental, you may choose to lend your sticker to your tenants, but we cannot replace it if they lose it. Non-sticker-holders may pay a small per-bag fee to dispose of waste.
