At last evening’s Select Board meeting, members of the public requested that the detail behind this year’s municipal (and school) budget be made available, and the Select Board agreed.
The detailed budget is available here in PDF form. Note that the 2024 and 2025YTD columns were based on the Town’s financial records as of the date the budget was being prepared and the values may have been adjusted after that date–and are pre-audit.
In addition, the rough calculations estimating the property tax/mill rate effects of the budget, if all articles are approved in their full amounts, are available here. These calculations are based on the 2025 property values and will be updated in late spring/early summer with the 2026 values required to be used for assessing 2026 property taxes.
All figures, especially the property tax/mill rate estimates, are subject to revision. The adopted budget will reflect the results of Town Meeting voting on the articles presented.
