Absentee ballots for the June 9, 2026, Primary Election are available now. Voters who are enrolled in the Democratic or Republican parties, or who are not enrolled in any party, are eligible to receive a ballot. Unenrolled voters may choose either ballot. Our district does not have a Green Independent or Libertarian ballot. All absentee ballots must be requested by close of business on June 4 and are due back by close of polls (8:00 PM) on election day.
HOW to request your ballotBlue Hill Heritage Trust has advised the Town that, due to work being conducted on the wireless carriers’ equipment on Blue Hill Mountain, the Mountain will be closed to hikers on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
It is expected that there will be three additional one-day closures—one later this month two and in July. BHHT and the Town will post the specifics of these closures when the dates are known.

The Town of Blue Hill will hold a public hearing to consider approval of a mobile vending permit during the April 27, 2026, Select Board meeting which will be held at 5:45 p.m. at the Blue Hill Town Office. The application is for The Blue Chill LLC.
