The Blue Hill Fire Department is comprised of approximately 30 volunteer firefighters who carry pagers and respond to calls when notified by Hancock County Regional Communications Center (HCRCC).
BHFD responders either report directly to the scene or to the station located in the center of Blue Hill on Water Street to mobilize equipment.
BHFD also utilizes a number of volunteers who help the department function with a variety of important tasks.
Meetings
Weekly meetings are held each Wednesday at 6pm. Meetings take place in the Gad Robertson Room of the fire station. Meetings are open to the public.
