A public meeting was held on August 11 to educate the Blue Hill community on the proposed project to dredge Blue Hill Harbor to create an all-tides channel and turning basin in the harbor.
For those members of the community who could not attend the meeting, the links below provide access to the presentations used in the meeting, together with some summary notes as to the questions raised (and answers given) about the project, as well as subsequent discussion amongst Blue Hill community participants.
The Select Board plans to continue to educate the community about the project over the coming months, to provide opportunities for further community feedback, and to provide for a referendum vote on whether to appropriate the Town’s share of the project costs at the April 2023 Annual Town Meeting.
