Reminder: There will a public hearing to discuss the GSA Excess Tuition request on Thusday, March 26 in the Gordon Emerson Auditorium at the Blue Hill Town Hall. The hearing will begin at 6:00pm.
All items to be considered by a referendum vote (such as the GSA request) must be preceded by a public hearing to allow voters to debate the pros and cons of the question.
After the public hearing, the Select Board, School Committee/Superintendent, and Budget Committee will review a summary of the budget articles in this year’s warrant, together with the potential property tax implications of the Town’s voting. This is intended as an opportunity to better understand the budget and to prepare for Town Meeting.
