Blue Hill/Surry Transfer Station
The Town of Blue Hill has an opening for a Transfer Station Worker.
This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the transfer station operation, (overseeing construction debris, demolition, and the recycling program).
Duties include yard clean-up, assisting customers, baling, and preparing recycled materials to be moved to their next location.
This is a part time and/or on call position. Estimated Salary: $20+ per hour based on qualifications.

Deputy Clerk/Registrar of Voters
The Town of Blue Hill is seeking a full time Deputy Town Clerk/Registrar of Voters. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day transactions of Motor Vehicles, Inland Fisheries, Vital Records, Tax Payments and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer, math, and customer service skills. Additionally, the chosen candidate will have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Work is performed in accordance with local ordinances, and state laws. The position requires initiative, judgement, and the ability to work independently, with the public and other officials. Strong preference given to those with prior municipal, BMV and TRIO software experience. Compensation will begin at $22-$25 depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, up to 4 weeks of earned paid leave in addition to optional dental, vision, and retirement plans. Office Schedule Mon. 8-6 Tu-Fr 8-3:30.

Town of Blue Hill / Public Works Department / Part Time Employment
The Town of Blue Hill is now accepting applications for a part-time position with the Public Works Department. Applicants must be 18+ in good physical condition with a valid driver’s license, have knowledge of general maintenance, mowing, chainsaws etc. Knowledge/experience on a backhoe or similar equipment is a plus.
