*Full-Time and Part-Time Deputy Clerk

$22-24/hr DOE. Customer Service duties as a Deputy Clerk include but not limited to:

  • Issuing Motor Vehicle and IFW registrations and IFW hunting & fishing licenses
  • Collecting real estate and personal property tax
  • Organizing Town and State elections
  • Issuing vital records

Required skill set:

  • Customer service
  • Technical/Computer efficiency
  • Ability to Multitask & Prioritize in a fast-paced environment

We are seeking a highly motivated team player who enjoys working with the public. The ideal candidate will have municipal experience; however, candidates with comparable experience and skill sets are encouraged to apply. *Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer or Deputy CEO

$20-30/hr DOE. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Reviewing plans submitted with building permit applications
  • Issuing building permits to appropriate applicants
  • Inspecting buildings and other structures for structural safety, fire safety and sanitation

Job requirements: 

  • Able to work well with contractors, workers, building owners, other municipal employees and the public
  • Obtain CEO certification within 12 months or hire or already certified
  • Familiar with applicable zoning codes and related laws and ordinances, B.O.C.A. building codes, and plumbing codes and permit regulations
  • Able to conduct field inspections, recognize violations and obtain compliance
