The Select Board will meet at 8am Friday, June 14, to review and sign the warrant for a Special Town Meeting to be held on Monday, June 24. The warrant detailing the articles to be voted on should be posted on Friday.
The meeting will be in person only, with no remote participation available.

There will be a Special Town Meeting held on June 24, 2024 at 5:30pm. The meeting will be held at the Blue Hill Town Hall (18 Union Street, Blue Hill, ME). Topics will include requests from both the School and the Town to use Funds from the Undesignated Fund Balance.

At last Monday’s Select Board meeting, the Select Board indicated that it would try to make available, in an accessible format, more information about the 2024 property revaluation.
Attached is an Excel worksheet with comparative data, for each property in Blue Hill (identified by Map and Lot number). It shows the 2023 and 2024 taxable property valuations as well as an estimate of what the 2024 taxes on each property will be.
At its meeting on May 28th, 2024, the Select Board adopted a set of rules and regulations to apply to the Town’s three cemeteries. The rules govern the sale of rights to use lots in the cemeteries, maintenance responsibilities, monument specifications, decorations, and visitor use, among other things.
