As a result of conflicting events for several Select Board members, the Select Board meeting to be held on Monday, December 8 will be moved up to 5:00pm and will have a very limited agenda.
The expectation is that the sole item on the agenda (which will not be separately published) will be signing the week’s disbursement warrants, and that all substantive, non-time-sensitive matters will be addressed at the Board’s next meeting on December 15.
The Town Office will close at 3:30pm today. It will be open for regular office hours tomorrow.
At the Select Board’s last meeting, it was decided that the deadline for Town Meeting donation requests from third-party charitable organizations will be December 31, 2025, consistent with the policy adopted several years ago and in order to produce a budget and the town’s Annual Report on a timely basis.

At the 2025 Annual Town Meeting, the Town directed the Select Board to communicate to state legislators, Members of Congress, Governor, and President of the United States that the town calls upon our Federal elected representatives to enact carbon pricing legislation to protect Maine from the costs and environmental risks of continued climate inaction.
